Lockdown Throwdown Rules

The #LockdownThrowdown Challenge

Presented by Fleet Feet, Karhu, West Salem Public House and CrossFit Amplitude

  • One weekly workout will be posted each week for as many weeks as Fleet Feet is closed to the general public
  • The challenge will end is over 1 week after FF re-opens. You will have exactly one week after re-opening day to complete weekly workouts
  • You can take as long as you want to complete any given workout and make as many attempts as you like to get your best score.
  • BUT, once you begin the next workout (issued in order) you cannot go back and re-attempt previous workouts. 
    • One exception – the weekly workout for week 1 (5 miles 200 burpees) can be attempted until March 31, whether or not you have completed week 2.
    • A virtual leaderboard will be posted at fleetfeetws.com and updated daily
    • You must post a selfie with evidence of your time to the We Run Winston Facebook page (not only the time spent running, but your total time) AND report your score through the webform the will be available on http://www.werunwinston.com.
    • Posting to Strava is not required but is preferred.
    • All posts MUST look like Austen’s each week. Copy and paste her wording and hashtags.

We will have a celebration party and awards ceremony the 1stSaturday evening after the end of the challenge at West Salem Public House.

Awards:

  • Weekly Challenge winners will receive a custom #lockdownthrowdown challenge t-shirt (special champions edition version)
  • In the case of a repeat winner, the next highest place contestant that has not already won will be considered the winner that week.
  • There will be 1 male and 1 female winner every week
  • #lockdownthrowdown t-shirts will be available for sale to all participants
  • The cumulative score of all challenges will be kept. 1stplace gets one point, 2ndplace gets 2 points, etc.  The lowest scoring male and female (must have completed every workout) at the end of the challenge is the #lockdownthrowdown grand champion
  • Grand Champions receive a custom hoodie
  • Every participant the completes one weekly challenge will be entered in a drawing to win 1 month of free training at CrossFit Amplitude (one winner)
  • Every participant that completes 100% of the weekly workouts gets a free beer at the celebration party
  • Every participant that completes 100% of the weekly workouts will be entered to win a pair of Karhu lifestyle shoes (one male and one female winner)
