No Boundaries is a 5K training program designed for beginning runners, walkers, and run/walkers. Over the course of 9 weeks, you'll learn running basics and, with the help of our experienced coaches and motivational mentors, train to complete a 5K. The program includes two workouts per week, as well as tons of information on important topics like nutrition, injury prevention, cross training. This is a great way to meet new running buddies and increase your fitness level!
Kickoff Meeting: Thursday, March 10th, 6PM at FFWS
First Group Practice: Monday, March 14th 6PM at FFWS
Group practices every Monday/Thursday 6PM at Fleet Feet WS
Registration fee: $125 (everything you need to get ready for your first 5K: 9 week training plan, 2 coached practices per week, weekly emails from your coach, program t-shirt, tons of support and encouragment from your coach and mentors)
Goal Race: ROCC 5K on May 14th
Weather: Group workouts will happen rain or shine. In cases of dangerous weather, practice will be cancelled.
Children ages 10-16 are allowed to participate, but a parent must also be registered and attend all practices with their child. 16 and above do not require parent participation.
